How has Xanga changed or impacted your life?
It gave me a social life and a sounding board for my writing that I wouldn't have otherwise. In real life, it's pretty much only my daughter that ever reads or crittiques my writing and it's just possible she may be biased... I hope.
I just answered this Featured Question; you can answer it too!

@locomotiv - NEVER!!!!!
@ShimmerBodyCream - I know. Pathetic, huh?
@Ampbreia - lol at you all
I've found a box of memories that failed to grow otherwise, adate, heartache...many poemsI never would have written (notall of them embarassing) (date, chats, poem;) )
It has added people to my life that enrich me, ideas I might not have thought of, and friends I never want to live without.
Actually, thank goodness, this site has not changed or affected me in the very least. Other than, making a few conversational friends. If I was to admit to the contrary, that would mean my inner life has no personal value. That the outside world neither inspires me or enlightens me in the very least. Xanga is a place to pass the time but it should never be thrown into a sort of higher status. To do that would make the doer a bit superficial and out of touch with the outside world. And then what would happen is, people would start dying their har red, going into theaters dressed in black, thinking they are the Joker and killing people.
I am addicted to Xanga too.
Sad to say xanga isn't a news outlet, but it is sort of an opinion page/place. It is a bit of familiar and could be part of your family.
We jostle each other, sort of rant to each other and generally get immediate responses.
Gee the top blogs is reduced to under 60 sites, it must be due to mechanical problems.
@catstemplar2 - @JadeMaster2 - @starmanjones - Me too.
@catstemplar2 - Yes, we're I'm pathetically isolated in real life. Not all of us have tons of real life social outlets. Lucky you.
@PPhilip - Those are some of the things I like about it. As to the limitation on top blogs; must be a glitch. *SHRUG* I mostly read from my subscriptions anyway.
