  • Anatomy of a Kiss

    Eyes caught in that moment,

That gossamer mesh where time and infinity collide,

    Worlds apart come together…

    Breath caught,

The shiver of a delicate touch trembling with an urgency unknown,

Warmth along the side of one’s face…

    I want to know you…

    I want to be you…

Just for a moment our beings intermeshed.

Desire manifest is an energy transcendent,

A frisson running down our spines,

    Electrifying and pure of feeling,

    Single minded,

    Overwhelming like a tidal wave,

    I can feel your heartbeat,

The depth of love in your touch,

Desire when your lips touch mine,

    Moving slowly,

    Heat throbbing in that tingle,

Radiance between us like a fire,

Glowing softly like red coals stoked,

Or fey magic passed along these threads of destiny,

    Warp and woof interwoven,

Our souls blent in this simple but vital connection

    Sweet intimacies between,

Lips sweetly pressed in passion and affection,

They tingle still when slowly we part and step away.

I touch my lips still red with blood

The essence of you yet lingering there.

Don't mind me.  Just trying to remember what a real kiss is like.  So now I challenge all of you: put a kiss into words if you can... without using the word "kiss."

If you choose to accept this mission, please tag me when you do.  This message will self destruct in... some time.  Yeah.  So get your kissing in while the kissing's good!
